Our Story

Where Love Meets Legacy

We met doing work we both cared deeply about helping people and businesses strengthen their financial futures. From the beginning, we connected over a shared belief that financial knowledge can change the way people make decisions, pursue opportunities, and build for what comes next.

As we got to know each other deeper, we realized our visions aligned beyond our professional lives. We brought together experience across banking, lending, credit, community development, philanthropy, and financial education and somewhere along the way, we fell in love.

Today, we're married in life and united in purpose. Driscoll Family Financial Education Services is an extension of what we believe: financial knowledge should be practical, accessible, and grounded in real-world experience.

Through education, conversation, and personalized guidance, we help individuals, families, and entrepreneurs better understand their finances and approach important decisions with greater clarity and confidence.

This is our family business and we'd be honored to be part of your financial journey.

Throughout his career, he has worked directly with thousands of individuals and business owners navigating credit, debt, cash flow, business financing, and important financial decisions.

His business lending experience includes helping entrepreneurs navigate and secure millions of dollars in capital across traditional financial institutions and community development financial institutions (CDFIs). Through financial education, business capital advisory, workshops, coaching, and one-on-one sessions, he helps individuals and entrepreneurs understand their options, prepare for important financial decisions, and take informed next steps with greater confidence.

Nimaj's work is also deeply rooted in community. His career has included leadership and service within Detroit's small-business and community-development ecosystem. His financial expertise has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, and his lending work contributed to CDC Small Business Finance's recognition by the U.S. Small Business Administration's Michigan District Office as Community Advantage Lender of the Year in both 2022 & 2023. He has been recognized as a 2024 Michigan Chronicle 40 Under 40 honoree and a 2025 Notable Professional in Who's Who in Black Detroit for his leadership and contributions to the community.
